“History Notes” is an ongoing collection of information on some of the famous and not so famous residents of Grove Hill Cemetery as collected by historians, Betty Matthews, Charles Long, Duanne Puckett, Mike Harrod and others. Check back periodically for new notes on our residents that we will share as information is gathered and time is available to post them. Some notes are fact, some are legend with the facts lost to time, some are conjecture, all are respectfully shared for visitors’ enjoyment.
